Meet Rachel
Hi, I’m Rachel. I am a fully qualified hairstylist and have been for the last 13 years. I am from a family full of hairdressers, me being the fourth generation (my great nan, nan, mum and ME). I have grown up around all things hair and I love nothing more than making people feel and look amazing!
I started my career in a salon in South Wales, where I am from, at which I worked in for nearly 10 years. I then met my now husband who brought me here to the beautiful seaside town Aberaeron.
If you don’t find me making someone’s hair look the best it can, you’ll find me being a mum to 3 incredible children - two boys and a girl who keep me super busy!
I welcome all existing and new clients and only the best will do for you all. So I will only ever use professional, high end products and techniques on your hair. So that’s a little introduction from me! It would be lovely to see you sometime at 'theSALON'. Come and say hi, you’re always welcome x
Meet MarieClaire
Hi! I am a mum of 5 beautiful children and an expert and artist in the world of Beauty and Aesthetics. I also sing a little bit with my band when I have the time. I live just on the outskirts of New Quay, a lovely picturesque town on the west coast of Wales, where I opened my first salon back in 2007.
Since I started in the industry almost 20 years ago now, I have continued to train and develop my skills. I taught in a work-based college for 10 years alongside running my own business.
I am passionate about seeking out the industry leaders and take pride in learning from only the elite practitioners. This is so that I can bring back expert treatments and products and deliver highly personalised experiences to my clients. I am grateful to have worked and trained with some of the best in the industry; only the best will do for me... and you!
I try to keep up to date with education, often via digital courses, and when I spot something new that a celebrity is raving about, I will follow this treatment for months before deciding if it is something that does what it claims to do! For me, real results whilst still looking real, is what it is all about!
I absolutely love a challenge, so give me something to correct or improve and you’ll be my case study until we’re both happy 😉
